OpenClaw 2026.2.17 just dropped a feature that Feishu power users have been waiting for: native Bitable automation tools. Your agent can now create Bitable apps and fields programmatically, opening up serious workflow automation possibilities.

What's New

The release adds two new Feishu-specific tools:

• create-app: Spin up new Bitable applications directly from your agent
• create-field: Add custom fields to existing Bitable tables

This means your agent can now build and structure databases on the fly—no manual clicking through the Feishu UI required.

Why This Matters

Bitable is Feishu's answer to Airtable/Notion databases. It's deeply integrated into the Feishu ecosystem that millions of enterprise users in China rely on daily. Before this update, automating Bitable structure changes meant either:

1. Using the raw Bitable API (tedious)
2. Manual setup in the web UI (not scalable)
3. Custom scripts outside your agent workflow (fragmented)
